How to Verify a GJSPC Gemstone Report Online

Check the report number and match its photograph and findings to the gemstone you received.

Find the actual report number

Take the laboratory document supplied with your item and locate its report or reference number. Avoid assuming that a shop's invoice number is the same thing as a laboratory report number. If a QR code is printed on the document, check that it leads to the laboratory's own official domain rather than an unfamiliar copy.

Open the official report lookup

GJSPC provides a Report Check page at gjspc.in/ReportCheck. Enter the report number through that page. If a result is returned, compare the photograph, item description, dimensions and any reported material or treatment details with the document and the physical item in your possession. If no result appears, check for a transcription error and contact the issuer or seller; an empty search alone does not establish fraud.

What a certificate does not say

Do not interpret a report more broadly than its wording. “Natural” is not necessarily the same as “untreated.” A report for an assembled bracelet does not automatically mean each bead received a separate test. Whether geographical origin is stated, and with what confidence, depends on the report and the kind of specimen.

What GJSPC publishes about its services

GJSPC lists gemstone identification with treatment disclosure, grading, selected origin reporting, Rudraksha assessment, jewellery services and appraisal. These are descriptions from the laboratory's own website. AYU4 does not independently certify the laboratory or repeat its marketing superlatives as established rankings.

When buying from a retailer

GemKrishna describes GJSPC documentation for certain custom gemstone and Rudraksha items. Ask for a sample of the applicable report type if needed, then verify the final report for the actual order. No gemstone lab certificate verifies that wearing a stone will improve health, luck, love or finances.
