When buying a Rudraksha, three questions are easy to mix together: whether a laboratory report is included, what an authenticity card means, and what happens if an item is found not authentic. GemKrishna publishes separate terms for each. The report threshold is applied to each bead—not to the cart total—and the lifetime authenticity guarantee is not a lifetime change-of-mind return policy. Check the current product and policy pages before ordering.

How the report charge is calculated

GemKrishna’s buying page states that each bead priced at ₹1,000 or more includes a free one-on-one GJSPC X-ray report. For an individual bead priced below ₹1,000, the stated charge is ₹150 per bead. This is a per-bead rule, not a basket threshold. A cart containing several lower-priced beads does not make each of those beads eligible for a free report merely because the combined order value is high.

For example, if a purchase contains one bead priced ₹1,200 and two beads priced ₹800 each, the published rule means the first bead meets the free-report threshold and each lower-priced bead is below it. The applicable add-on for the two lower-priced beads would be ₹150 per bead, subject to the checkout’s current presentation. Review the exact line items before paying, rather than calculating eligibility from the whole order.

Sample report versus the report for your bead

A product page may display a size-specific report as a reference. GemKrishna says such a sample is not the report for the exact bead delivered. The delivered report is described as one-on-one, with its own unique number and findings. This distinction matters: an example can illustrate what a report may look like, but it does not document the identity or observations for the individual bead you receive.

When the report is important to your decision, confirm that the order includes the relevant report under the per-bead rule, then compare the report’s identifying information and photograph with the item and packaging. GJSPC provides a report-check page where a report number can be looked up. A laboratory report has a defined scope: it records the laboratory’s stated identification and observations, rather than predicting spiritual or health outcomes.

Authenticity card and laboratory report are not interchangeable

GemKrishna states that an Authenticity Card accompanies every order. That seller-provided card is separate from an independent GJSPC laboratory report. A card should not be treated as proof that a particular paid laboratory examination was included, and a displayed sample report should not be mistaken for the exact-bead document. If you need both, check the order details for each separately.

GJSPC describes its Rudraksha identification and origin report as including a unique report number, an approximate picture, measurements and identification characteristics. Its published materials also describe grading reports as assessing factors such as size, shape, colour, surface texture, Mukhi appearance and treatment-related observations. These are descriptions published by the laboratory; they should be read as the laboratory’s stated reporting scope, not as a guarantee of spiritual effect.

What the lifetime authenticity guarantee covers

GemKrishna’s formal refund policy states that if a product is shown not to be authentic, the customer receives a full refund of everything paid, including shipping and return shipping, without deductions. The seller describes this as a lifetime authenticity guarantee. The practical question is evidence and process: consult the formal policy for how to raise the claim and what documentation is required. Do not interpret the guarantee as a no-questions-asked refund whenever a buyer changes their mind, or as an automatic refund simply because a report was not purchased.

Keep the order information, product, card and any laboratory document together. If you have a concern, contact the seller through the route specified in the formal policy and explain the issue. Clear records make it easier to identify the transaction and the specific bead being discussed.

Ordinary returns and restringing are separate

The seller’s ordinary return terms are distinct from an authenticity claim. GemKrishna describes a 30-day return period for eligible, unused, non-custom items, subject to conditions. Custom items are not covered by the standard return arrangement; review the policy before buying a made-to-order item. The presence of a lifetime authenticity guarantee does not turn a custom purchase into an unrestricted lifetime return.

Restringing is another separate service. GemKrishna states that restringing labour is free for the lifetime of the product, while the customer pays shipping. This covers labour terms as described; it does not mean shipping is free, nor is restringing the same as a refund or replacement. For fit changes or damage, consult the applicable product and policy provisions rather than assuming the authenticity terms apply.

A buyer’s quick check before checkout

This checklist helps set expectations without confusing documentation, returns and authenticity protections. The seller’s published terms and the laboratory’s descriptions can change, so the live pages are the appropriate place to confirm details at purchase.
